  3. It’s also essential to inform your children about trolling, online bullying, and sexting (once they’re older).
  4. Inform your child about how important privacy is by not divulging personal information so as not to be a victim to identity theft.
  5. Train your child to not trust strangers and meet with someone without a guardian; be aware of suspicious weblinks; create strong passwords; logout of all accounts when using a public device.
  6. Be a good role model by not letting your children see you on any site that you wouldn’t want them to be on.
  7. Be on a lookout for suspicious and fake emails.
  8. Encourage and impose quality family time where there Are no electronic devices. Family time may be spent bonding through a cheerful family dinner, playing board games, pool party, etc.
