Studying Made Easy With AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center
Online tutoring is not a new practice and has been around for quite sometime. However, not many students are keen on the idea that they’ll be tutored virtually. This attitude changes once the student has tried it and the realization that online tutoring indeed has its advantages sets in. Although I haven’t tried it personally, there are people I know who have. It’s very convenient because you no longer have to leave your house to meet with your tutor, saving you travel time and money. There will always be an online tutor available since geography isn’t a problem. You can even live in different sides of the planet and still hold sessions. Furthermore, since the tutor doesn’t need to travel to a session, it’s more likely that he/she will charge less.
The idea of tutoring for my daughter has actually entered my mind since there are times when I have so much to do that I don’t even have time to supervise her with her homework and lessons. I also feel that I’m lacking in some subjects, specifically Math, so at times I don’t really get to explain the lessons thoroughly. My daughter is intelligent and I want her to reach her full potential so I think working with a tutor will help her achieve that. She’ll learn more and ask more questions that only an expert can answer. That’s why tutoring is definitely an option for us.
In 1995, AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center, the country’s leading tutorial and review center, started its operations. Their academic tutorial programs and test preparation courses have become the industry’s benchmark for excellence. They likewise have online programs where students can study for their tests, do their homework, and study their lessons in advance at their homes. This is because of AHEAD’s video-conferencing platform where students can have one-on-one review sessions with expert tutors. This is advantageous specially to those who live far from tutorial centers.
People can avail of AHEAD’s online programs and choose among the various packages they have namely Quick Help Package, Study Aide Package, Achievers Package, Maintenance Package, College Package, Summer Advancement Program-12, and Summer Advancement Program-24. A detailed explanation of each package can be seen at their website. AHEAD has several branches, the main office being in Quezon City, another one in Katipunan (FBR), Robinsons Galleria, Alabang, Antipolo, Baguio, Makati, and Tuguegarao.

I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a review center. But review centers prove to be very helpful to all students/pros. In fact, we have a friend who’s a seaman who always enrolls in a review center every time they go back home from work.
I think I know this review center back in college. If i know someone who needs it, I will pass this info to them.
I’ve never experienced a review center and I never really understood the point until I’ve read this post. Cool. :)
Review centers were a big help to me when I was preparing for the UPRHS entrance exam and the UPCAT. Passed both exams in flying colors, thankfully! :) In less than two years’ time, Yue will be taking entrance exams for high school and will definitely be enrolling him in a review center as well.
My parents have not sent me to any tutorial services but I am glad there are establishment like this.
I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Ahead. I’ll pass this along to my friends looking for a good review center.
Wow! Ahead has online programs na pala. This is great because you don’t need to leave home anymore.
An opportunity like this is great esp for those who don’t have much time for being always on the go.
Being a homeschooling family, we very much appreciate online resources and services. Maybe in the near future, when my eldest son’s Math becomes a bit too difficult, we will check into AHEAD. It sounds like a good program.
I’ve been asking my friends if they can recommend a good review center. I’m glad I’ve stumbled your blog post. Will tell my sister about this! It’s good to know that there’s a branch near my place.
