Protecting Your Family From Burglars
Money is so hard to come by nowadays that even if you work two jobs your budget will probably still come up short. Unfortunately, the high cost of living and insufficient money causes some people to commit crimes such as robbery and burglary, which happens to be one of the most common but also one of the easiest to prevent. If this happens to your family, not only will you lose material possessions, it’s definitely gonna have a big effect on you and your family’s sense of safety and well-being. There are steps that you can take to prevent this from happening and in the process protect your family.
It’s best to install a burglar alarm. Although this might be expensive, it’s a good deterrent. Windows should be attached to a home security alarm and have locks that operate from the inside. Use automatic light timers throughout the house and have them turn on and off in a way that simulates your normal patterns. The same kind of timers you use on lights, you can also use to turn radios and TVs on/off. Install a CCTV device. Also use solid core or metal doors that are secured with good quality deadbolt or spring bolt locks with a horizontal bolt at least 1 inch long. Last but not the least, get a dog.
Very informative, I’m really planning of installing a burglar alarm this month, it is a good deterrent tool to protect my love ones.
Wow nice. I think I have to do it also.
It is not just about money. It is about invasion of privacy. We all have devices to keep our homes burglar-free, but in the end, it is all up to God. We can only rest in Him.
Well alarms are really good. But yeah, they can be expensive. So we just have to be creative in installing some stuff that will create noise when there are intruders! And let’s cover our homes in prayer.
I have a dog, but two months ago my car was stolen from in front of our house. I guess it’s time for lights or camera. Thanks for the tips.
