For the past two decades, cell phones have been a necessity for every person, no matter where one is. It makes communication easier and serves many purpose. Nowadays, it’s even more essential since smartphones can access the internet and in this day and age we can do essentially everything with our smartphones such as checking our emails, online shopping, online banking, ordering food, watching movies and videos, listening to music, online gaming etc.

Ever since the pandemic broke out and the quarantine started last March, I think I’ve used my phone twice as much. Whenever I don’t feel like cooking for my family I just have food delivered. Eventhough quarantine measures has been eased a bit, I’m still wary of going out so I also do my grocery shopping, as well as pay our bills online. My smartphone really makes doing mommy duties easier.

This coming school year is definitely going to be more challenging because of its unconventionality. Blended learning has never been done before so as early as now, my daughter and I are already bracing ourselves for a tough year. I’m thankful that Kimy’s smart so I think she’ll be able to adjust right away. I just hope our internet connection remains stable.

With regards to gadgets, we don’t have a shortage of it but if ever she needs another laptop, tablet, or smartphone, we can always buy them at Rakuten, a marketplace where you can shop from top brands at great prices.
