Noob Friendly Electric Guitar

Looking for a good beginner’s electric guitar? If you are then I recommend the exceptional fender squier strat at Musicians Friend. I purchased this electric guitar as a Christmas gift for my 12 yr. old nephew. He loves it and plays it every chance he gets. This is his first electric guitar so we are still learning about all the technical aspects of it and cannot comment on that at this time. We really liked the whole package deal and it arrived promptly and well packaged. The only problem we had was that the frets stuck out a little on the neck of the guitar and it was ripping up his hand pretty bad. I had to take it to a local music store to shave down the frets for $30. Otherwise, excellent product thus far!
